Want to ground your retreat with a text? A Book Discussion can be a great way to support your lunch if participants do not know one another. It can also create the theme of the whole retreat.

Prompted Reflection.
This guided journaling session will come with a journal, and prompts to connect with your thoughts, reflect on your time away and guide your inner chatter. Often we have so much being said, we need only to focus our thoughts and create space to interpret the messages being delivered.

Sage Cleanse
Burning sage — also known as “smudging” — is a ceremony used by indigenous peoples for centuries. Traditionally it as been used to help clear negative energy. It can also aide in relaxation, focus, and combating everyday stress. As a simplified none, burning dry sage can help clear the air around you and promote mindfulness within.

“Pulling a Card” is a tool to your inner self. As with everything, enjoy this process. There is no need to worry if you are doing it right or wrong. Just follow your intuition, and trust the journey. As you examine the cards, you will create and connect the messages often allowing you to hear exactly what you need in this moment.

Grounding.
Grounding at its root is a practice of energetically connecting to the earth. It is a practice of energetically connecting to yourself, all that is around you, as well as your future being. Similar to a plant if it has strong nourishing soil, it will flourish. Many of us feel ungrounded or stressed in a constant state of chaos, powerlessness and disconnect with our physical body as well as our emotions. When you are grounded, it allows you to be present, organized in thoughts and actions, as well as, grow in a way that is in alignment with your vision.

Japa Mala + Crystal Bowls
Incorporating a Japa Mala into a Crystal Bowl Meditation can deepen the meditative experience by combining the auditory resonance of the crystal bowls with the tactile sensation of counting the mala beads. Japa Mala
Japa is a form of meditation that uses mantras to quiet and focus the mind. A mantra can be a single-syllable sound, word or phrase that is repeated silently or chanted aloud. Japa is a Sanskrit word that means “muttering” or “repeating in a murmuring tone.” Frequently the use of a mala is engaged to complete the Japa 108 times during the meditation session.

At times a tone may be the singing bowls may produce binaural beats, which encourage the brain waves that help you feel relaxed.

Want to try cold water immersions? Cold-water immersion involves partially or totally submerging yourself in cold water for a few minutes. A Cold Water plunge is a great way to activate the body's natural healing powers, and can also relieve the symptoms of various medical conditions.
Introspective Art
This is the practice of turning inwards. You are being drawn to concentrate solely on your thoughts, emotions, and feelings. In this time, you are being asked to take an hour or two to step back and think. Reflect on how you are doing emotionally, and with prompting, create.
No one knows how you are feeling, or what you are creating. With Introspective art, the medium becomes your voice and you are much better at creating than you may believe. We can get swept up into what others are thinking or will view our creation. That is NOT the priority. We are consciously stepping back from the world to allow our thoughts, visions and dreams come to life.
With the proper materials and a blank canvas, you can create whatever it is that you dream of being, creating and expressing. This is a time to be self-aware and pause. With the gentle music playing in the background, and medium in your hands, your are invited to be the observer of your creative expression. You are encouraged to observe yourself, your emotions and maybe the future as well.
