  • I started practicing yoga at 17. What started as weekly class with my mom, became a lifelong passion. What started as a personal practice transformed in 2014 when I began teaching in Burlington, WI. As I have grown, yoga has grown with me.

  • All good! Classes are curated by seasoned instructors to meet you where you are at. We will talk before class and make a plan about what we need to address to make the most of your practice!

  • There are so many Hotels, Resorts, Air BnBs and VRBS. Find what is best for you! We will use the space you have to make the best of your space and if we need to we will find great spaces outdoors.

  • We have two choices! One dress for the weather. I will help you pack for what you need to be in the space and enjoy OR we will make a Plan B. We can shift inside or wait for the weather to pass. Part of being a yogi is being flexible.

  • If you are interested in renting a prop kit, it is an additional $10 per person. The kit includes: 1 mat, 2 blocks, 1 strap. If you are practicing yoga nidra, or restorative yoga it is recommended to have additional materials such as bolsters and blankets.

  • All travel within 15 miles of Sturgeon Bay is included in the price of class, retreat or event. I use the Sturgeon Bay YMCA as my starting point. Beyond 15 miles, I will add a travel surcharge of $1 per mile each direction.

    Examples:

    YMCA to The Landing in Egg Harbor: 15.8 Milles | $2 surcharge

    YMCA to Welcker’s Point Shelter in Peninsula State Park: 26.9 Milles | $24 surcharge

  • Payment must be made upon booking. No students will be permitted to sign-up for a class, workshop, or retreat as unpaid unless it is a free or donation based.

  • Please read through the terms and conditions on our website thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a student of A Door Within you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on A Door Within website (www.adoorwithin.com).

    General

    1. All purchases of services (classes, workshops, events) are non-refundable.

    2. Every effort is made to hold class on time. If you need to reschedule or are late to class, you will be charged per the hourly rate. A Door Within is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

    3. Please be ready at least ten minutes before class. I will arrive at 20 -30 minutes early to set up.

    4. Payment must be made upon booking. No students will be permitted to sign-up for a class, workshop, or event as unpaid unless it is a free or donation based class.

    5. A Door Within is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings.

    6. You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all yoga classes.

    7. It is the responsibility of the student to notify teachers of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice.

    8. Classes with A Door Within may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.

    9. You will follow all instructions given to you by A Door Within teachers and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.

    10. In attending classes with A Door Within you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against A Door Within or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

    11. A Door Within reserves the right to refuse entry into class/ retreat.

    12. Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits.

    13. Terms, Conditions, and Fees are subject to change without prior notification.

    14. By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above terms & conditions.

  • If you do not show up for a class, services, workshops, or events (here on called class), you will be charged for it.

    Classes are non-refundable.

    Credits will not be provided for enrollments canceled by student.

    Please cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your space available to others.

    Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the start of the reserved class. If you do not attend or cancel within 72 hours of start time, you will be fully charged for the class and will not be able to use the credit for a future class.
