Retreats with A Door Within aim to nourish your body: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When on a personal retreat you will be sent what we like to equate to a high school course selection guide. You have blocks of time and then you get to fill in the activities you want to do while on retreat in those blocks. It is truly a “Build Your Own Adventure”! While on retreat you will be nourished with seasonal food that aid in feeling the vitality within. You will be nourished physically with yogic movement. You may want a power yoga to burn and fuel you or, deeply relaxing restorative yoga where we find just ten posture. If you truly need even less movement, you may choose guided meditation with a sound bath. It does not matter the what, it matters the how.

  • Are you ready to reconnect with nature? We will head off for a hike in the woods, guiding you to the practice yoga, with a guided meditation we will find stillness. Find connection.

No matter the retreat length, we will have a scheduled Video Chat about 10 days post retreat. This is a wonderful time to talk about the integration of our life experience. When we return to the “real world” sometimes what we need most is to talk about all we have learned.

    • Let’s talk meals! Depending on your retreat, meals vary. Please check with specific retreat to determine included meals. If you would rather, we have many recommendations for healthy lunch choices to meet your needs.

    • You will receive a questionnaire and from there your retreat will be built. Please be sure to check your email.

Accommodations

After choosing your ideal date to reconnect with yourself we will then discuss your ideal accommodations. Door County has ample supply of gorgeous accommodations to suit all design preferences, this retreat is all about YOU! We recommend finding the perfect accommodation near, and will provide many options. This is because you need time to integrate all that we do during retreat.

Another option is staying within our home. You will have a lovely room with bath. You will have access to wifi, as well as the lake or woods!
