Today, I invite you to read my reflections and make time just for you.
Maybe it is time to book a Personal Retreat
where you can slow down, reflect and adore all that is within.
Grow Within
trip or vacation
This week we are headed out on a trip. The quintessential road trip across the great plains of America, to the mountains of the west. This is the drive and the excursions, not a destination. There is a difference- and both are worthy.
dinner with a view
I know that running through the drive through line is an option for a meal, but at what cost? We leave on Saturday for a family vacation and the thought of eating out three meals a day is enough to make my stomach turn into a ball of rock. That is not what is best for us.
I am focusing the next few weeks on finding healthy options, no matter where we are.
forgotten shoes
“How silly! They forgot their shoes, how lucky they haven’t fallen off!”
Then it struck me, I bet I left my shoes on the roof too!
three strands
“The Gunas tell us whether we are genuinely moving forward in life (sattva) , running in place (rajas) or losing our way (tamas).”
forget-me-not
As I pick bucket after bucket, this land I love and value is being protected for future generations. Biodiversity increases, healthier native species flourish, and the ecosystem has space to thrive.
Plan B
We could’ve been disappointed that everything in our best laid plans was not an option, but instead we enjoyed Plan B. Plan B was just as it should be is what actually happened, because that is life
Elephants, jellyfish and sailboats
I point to another cloud and ask if he sees my vision- “Nope, that’s a sailboat.”
girls gone mild
I have been to a bachelorette party or two, but none quite like this one. We normally started our day with mimosas and finished our day with pizza. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending my most unique bachelorette party yet, the theme was “Girls Gone Mild”. I hosted six incredible women on a retreat.
the line up
The spot was selected and everyone lined up to capture the weekend. At that moment, my five-year-old nephew refused to be in the photo. He was standing in defiance refusing to line up.

As a society we place so much emphasis on growth, ability and success. But what about the success of being able to sustain growth for thousands of years?! This is the epitome of ‘slow and steady wins the race’.
