A quiet room that belongs only to you—where the day’s noise stays soft, thoughts can breathe, and small rituals matter. It’s not about isolation but about presence: a chair, a window, a cup of something warm, the book you haven’t read. Having space just for you means choosing how to spend time without guilt, tending your attention, and returning to the world steadier for it. It’s a simple refuge that helps you think clearer, feel quieter, and live with more intention.

Retreat is a wonderful time to slow down, breathe deeper and take time out from your normal day to day. I believe having an accommodation that provides more time in this space is so valuable. When you book a retreat, also book one of the amazing rooms, houses or location that fits your needs.

I have suggested local hotel resorts, short term rentals, and local lodging below. Door County has so many unique options. I hope you find the space where you want to be.

Vacation Rentals

There is always AirBnB or VRBO, but I highly recommend DoCo Vacations as it is a local business and the care and attention you receive is superb.
