Ashley is a women’s retreat facilitator, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, meditation guide, artist, forest bathing facilitator, as well as past middle school teacher.
As a Women’s Retreat Facilitator in Door County, Wisconsin she shares and guides other women who also yearn to be authentic and creative while living in this full modern world. She strives to bring women together to practice being present with one another and flow with clarity.

I have all the props- but if you love your yoga mat and any props bring it!
comfortable clothing + walking shoes (think layers Door County weather varies so socks, coats, hat, shorts and a scarf could all be used (in the same day). Depending on the time of year and where you are staying, we will recommend what to pack. Town by town and how the wind blows impacts what you will need to bring.

If your breathing, your doing yoga.
But if you are concerned- acknowledge that we practice many forms and types of yoga. Beginners are always welcome, but our practice may be restorative, a guided meditation, yoga thai massage or power flow. I am an experienced teacher who will accommodate your needs.

A beginner can absolutely go on a yoga retreat! Yoga retreats cater to individuals of all levels, including those who are new to yoga. Many are designed to be inclusive and provide a supportive environment for beginners to explore and deepen their practice.

This is a YOGIC retreat. We are doing “yoga” the whole time. But the physical practice is about one hour each day. Plus a 30-60 minute guided meditation.
If you are interested, now is the time to maybe try another class before you come. Just to give yourself an idea of where you are at and what you would like to experience while on retreat. This is the beauty of a personal retreat, I am able to accommodate for your needs and desires.

This is completely dependent on YOU! This is your retreat. I recommend coming in early the day before so that you can be settled in. I have an amazing list of accommodations that I recommend. based on your retreat, we will fit the times to best fit you. Some people like to make retreat a part of an extended weekend or a week long stay. The beauty of a personal retreat is that you can make it your own!
