which witch

I invite you to acknowledge your inner dialogue.

Really listen.

Who is talking to you? Is that voice a parent? Teacher? Grandparent? Guardian? Neighbor?

Acknowledge their tone, is the voice a critic or advocate?

When you hear your inner voice is their tone, one of love, support, honor, care, and nurturing? Is this a voice of creativity, beauty, and vitality?

Or is it a voice of criticism, rejection, belittlement, unworthiness, regret, and shame? Is this a voice of judgment, blame, jealousy, resentment, or anger?

The next time you hear your inner voice. I invite you to name them. Name the voice that you are hearing. There is probably a voice that is your “Good Witch.” A voice that tells you, you are perfect just the way you are; a voice of love and compassion.

But there is also the inner critic. I invite you to also name them. Name that voice as your “Wicked Witch.” This voice may be the same person at different moments in their day or in their life as well.

Naming these voices, gives you the power to acknowledge that these are their words and not yours. I invite you to begin to re-frame, the voice within is not your own. Allow yourself the space to know that not every statement is from within.

This Week’s A Door Within:

  • Name your inner voices

  • Reflect on their words.  Do you see faults in their statements?

  • Do you see when you can nurture the loving words deeper?

Lucky for all, the wicked witch is defeated with water.

Allow water to flow over you, and their words to flow with,

♥Ashley
