It’s Started.

And yet, little did we know it started long ago.

We are embarking on our grand adventure and our hearts are overflowing with JOY!

Let me take you back, to before A Door Within.

Three years ago, I made major life changes of leaving the classroom to be home with my boys and take care of me. It was the first time in years I had slowed down long enough to know I was not happy. I had to make changes. The changes were slow, I found the things that filled my soul.

Just over one year ago, we decided we would SOMEDAY live in Door County.

January 2023, we decided, “Why Wait?”

Spring 2023: We put our house on the market, packed our things into a storage unit and we moved into an apartment in Sturgeon Bay.

One month from today we will be closing on our new home and THIS will be our beach. We are beyond overflowing with joy to be setting down our roots and creating the home we have always dreamed about.

So how does A Door Within fit in? I have had many twists and turns in the past few years and I hope I can help others carve out moments to live a joy filled life. I hope to bring nature, movement and calm into your day or weekend. Together we will weave a beautiful web of creating with love and abundance we will find that we are most connected when we ‘Adore Within’.
