New moon in Libra is a beautiful intention to embrace balance, love and harmony both within yourself and your relationships. This lunation offers the perfect opportunity to re-align with your highest self and deepest desires. This moon is a dance between giving and receiving- action and rest- self and others. This is also marks the end of eclipse season. But we still have some “wild card” energy which you may be feeling. This is a moon of harmony. Even when the world is spinning and pulling us in many directions, Libra asks that we return to our center, balance what it is all about. As we begin to feel urgency with the upcoming holidays, this moon asks us to take a breath and come back once again to center. Libra is not just about balance but finding the middle ground. Honor the progress you have made, but recognize that we are still on our path forward. We may currently feel scattered with this moon, but use that as a guide to your new pathways. This may be just the rattling you need to move forward.
Guided Meditation: So Hum Japa Meditation
So Hum means I am that.
Inhale: So
Exhale: Hum
Here is a link to practice along with me!
Japa is a form of meditation that uses mantras to quiet and focus the mind. A mantra can be a single-syllable sound, word or phrase that is repeated silently or chanted aloud. Japa is a Sanskrit word that means “muttering” or “repeating in a murmuring tone.” Frequently the use of a mala is engaged to complete the Japa 108 times during the meditation session.
Ritual:
We were going to place stones on our scales. But for today, and at home- find two objects. It doesn’t matter what. But allow them to be simple such as a stone or an acorn.
Honor one as something in your life that brings you peace.
Honor one as something that creates imbalance.
See both for what they are as equal weight and importance. Can you live in the center, can you harmonize the two to be at peace?
Journaling Prompts:
Where do I struggle with fairness or making decisions?
What relationships need nurturing, and what relationships need boundaries?
How can I invite more beauty (physical, emotional, or spiritual) into my daily routine?
What three simple actions can you take right now to bring more balance into your day?
Two-Card Spread for the New Moon in Libra:
How can I enhance my self-love practice?
What steps can I take to manifest beauty and harmony?
Self-Love Practice:
Write a love letter to yourself. Find all of the positives that you love about you TODAY. Get out a lovely piece of paper, your favorite pen and start writing.
Dear Me,
…
Signed with Love,
Me
Even better? Burn it! Put it in the fire and allow your positivity to vanish into the ether.
This Week’s A Door Within is a bit different. But if you love it, I would love for you to join me for circle next month. I would love to have you join me in sisterhood. Circle is November 23 @7p
