green grass
On one of my recent retreats, I was walking the shores of Lake Michigan with a guest. She is a delightful soul who I think nourished me, as much as I nourished her. As we walked side by side, I reflected on friends of mine who are leading retreats in all the far corners of the earth and how I was jealous of the life they are leading.
Her reminder to me: “Your grass is already green.”
No advice, no “your young, you have time”, no sympathy.
The simple reminder, my life is exactly as it should be.
So wise. That morning, my 3-6-9 manifestation was “I am leading the life of my dreams”. She reminded me of this truth. For that, I thank her.
