Yes, I would love to move every leaf on that tree, but the only way is one leaf at a time. Yes, I would love to achieve my big audacious goal. But, it weighs too much.

As a social tradition, it connects people to the land. It connects us to the rhythms of nature's flow and is the “sweetest season”.

What we want is rest.

As we observe and watch, we must see experience and acknowledge what are the extremes that push us to new levels of consciousness. But even from our coldest moments, the warmth will come again.

Today, I invite you into the discomfort. Breathe into and through it. The pain creates the opportunity for release. The release creates opportunity for space. The space creates opportunity for clarity. The clarity creates opportunity for growth.

About once a year, you're just not in the right head space to teach your next class. I had had an incredible day, seriously, it was wonderful! I was full of smiles and joy. It was a balanced, healthy day that was just what I needed. Then there was one moment when it all came crashing. It happened so fast and furious, I bottomed out.
