Today, I invite you to read my reflections and make time just for you.
Maybe it is time to book a Personal Retreat
where you can slow down, reflect and adore all that is within.
Grow Within
spring peepers
Tonight, as the sun begins to set, the spring peepers will begin their sweet chorus. As one of the harbingers of spring, I too feel the transition of spring. Every night as the sun is setting I swear their orchestra is growing. Last weekend, it was an exciting rush to the door- “Do you hear that?! The frogs are back!” Now day, after day, their numbers are growing to what will be a crescendo of thousands.
2 minutes
Like a long sit meditation, for most of us it's just not a feasible.
This got me to thinking about what are the real tangible ways that I could have supported these women and all of the people around me to balance their nervous system and that brought me to the 2-Minute Meditation.
drip by drip
14 hours of stoking the fire, children playing, dads chopping wood, moms going out for walks, meals shared, plans made and friendships deepened, drip by drip. Just as the buckets drop glorious sap one drip at a time, bonds of community are also formed.
support
So often, we forget that asking for help or creating support for ourselves is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength! These structures may be physical or emotional. They may be a practice or a person. No matter the support- lean on it, it may be just what you need to make it through this season of change.
baking bread
Recently, I began to think of the starter truly as a person. How much care and energy I place in making sure all conditions are just right for growth. How I must change my actions to create the best outcomes.
Why do we not honor those changes within?
cold days
I am so grateful for nature’s intent. She forced us home, with no obligations. She forced us together, to lay only the best of plans.
gratitude tree
I am truly grateful for the incredible life I am able to live, and hope that you are too. I hope you take this moment to find your own practice, even if just for today.
am I safe?
This week, my 6 year old son asked me, “Am I safe?”
signs
… I opened the book and the first lines indicate that I am opening this book at this time for a very particular reason. It is not an accident. It is an invitation from the universe.
“I am listening.”
nature’s bounty
By honoring the harvest, we honor the bounty of every season. The bounty of crops, the bounty of space, the bounty of life’s return, and the bounty of growth.
